Shack policy extended by one year; Drone surveillance to monitor beaches
Goa Khabar : Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte held a meeting with shack operators to discuss various issues related to the upcoming tourist season.
Khaunte said the shack policy has been extended by one year and all licences will be issued by August 15, allowing operators to prepare early for the tourist season.
He also announced that drone surveillance will be introduced to monitor beaches and keep a check on illegal activities.
