Goa Khabar : RGP St. Andre MLA Viresh Borkar has acknowledged the party communication asking him to remain present between 3 pm and 6 pm today, but indicated that prior political engagements outside Goa may overlap with the scheduled time.
In a statement, Borkar said certain ongoing discussions “cannot be casually displaced at this stage” and stressed that “political time and clock time are often different things.”
He stated that instead of arriving within an “imposed frame” and compromising the seriousness of the interaction, it would be better to mutually decide an appropriate time after his current engagements conclude.
Borkar also reiterated his commitment to the party structure, saying he remains available “with full respect, commitment and clarity of intent.”
Ending the statement on a reflective note, he said, “At times, delays are not distance. They are merely timing waiting for the correct room.”
His office is expected to communicate the next suitable coordination shortly.
