AAP Goa leadership meets National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal; Vows to intensify fight against BJP’s Policies

Goa Khabar : A high-level delegation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa unit met with the party’s National Convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, in the national capital to discuss critical issues concerning the coastal state.

The delegation was led by AAP Goa State President Valmiki Naik and included Velim MLA Cruz Silva, Working President Gerson Gomes, Senior Vice President Sandesh Teleikar Dessai, Vice Presidents Sunil Signapurkar and Roque Mascarenhas, and Organizational Secretary Prashant Naik.

The meeting primarily focused on strengthening the party’s grassroots presence in Goa and addressing pressing public grievances.

• Public Advocacy: The leaders discussed a roadmap to take up local issues more aggressively to ensure the voices of Goans are heard.
• Resistance to Dictatorial Policies: A significant part of the deliberation centered on putting up a unified and “strong fight” against what they termed as the “dictatorial policies” of the BJP government.
• Strategic Planning: The National Convenor provided guidance on organizational expansion and highlighted the importance of staying connected with the common man.

Condolences to Goa Prabhari Atishi

The Goa team’s visit to Delhi was also marked by a solemn gesture. The leaders met with Goa Prabhari (In-charge) and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi to offer their heartfelt condolences following the recent demise of her father.

The meeting underscores AAP’s intent to ramp up its political activities in Goa, signaling a more confrontational stance against the ruling dispensation in the coming months.
