Goa Khabar : The International Centre Goa (ICG), in association with Bika Utsav, is set to host Raj Kamal Jha, the Chief Editor of The Indian Express, for a keynote talk on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
The session, titled “Future of Journalism—Potential and Challenges,” will take place at the Zaiyo-Zuiyo lawns of the ICG at 6:30 PM. The event is free and open to the general public.
A Legacy of Excellence
Raj Kamal Jha is a towering figure in Indian media, known for his “bold and exemplary leadership.” Under his guidance, The Indian Express has secured the International Press Institute’s award for excellence in journalism five times. Notably, Jha led the investigative team for the “Panama Papers” in collaboration with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), a project that earned the consortium a Pulitzer Prize.
His contributions to the field during the pandemic earned him the “Editor of the Year” award from the International Advertising Association’s India chapter.

Beyond the newsroom, Jha is a celebrated novelist. His literary achievements include:
