Goa Khabar : AAP leaders Sandesh Teleikar Dessai and Mamata Maben raised concerns over the growing LPG crisis, highlighting that residents of Ponda and entire Goa are forced to stand in long queues outside gas agencies where barricades have been placed to control crowds, even during the festive season.

They pointed out that LPG prices have increased from ₹870 to ₹925 while supply remains limited. The leaders also criticised the government for failing to address the issue despite assurances from the Chief Minister about adequate LPG stocks, stating that people no longer trust such promises. They stated the changing process of acquiring cylinders along with the shortage of supply has wasted the time, money and energy of ordinary citizens.

AAP leaders question Ponda authorities for turning Antruz Nagar Park into a neglected ruin

AAP leaders Sandesh Teleikar Dessai and Mamata Maben along with Volunteers criticised the poor condition of the park at Antruz Nagar, Curti in Ponda, stating that the playground equipments have rusted and become unsafe for children while basic facilities and maintenance are completely missing. They said the park, located in a residential area used by children and elders, has been ignored by the administration with not even proper plantation carried out.

The leaders added that from major civic issues like ID Hospital, drainage, roads and traffic to basic amenities like children’s parks, the Ponda administration has shown zero accountability. While elected representatives build bungalows for themselves, electors are left to suffer. They demanded that those who cannot perform their duties should step down immediately.
