Goa Khabar : AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal today held an interaction meeting and lunch with the state office bearers of AAP Goa. During the meeting, Kejriwal listened to suggestions from party leaders and shared his vision for strengthening AAP’s organisational presence in the state.

Leaders raised serious concerns related to large-scale land conversions, destruction of khazan lands, and damage to lakes and rivers, highlighting how unchecked development backed by BJP is harming Goa’s ecology and livelihoods.

Addressing the gathering along with AAP Goa State President Valmiki Naik and Goa In-Charge Atishi, Arvind Kejriwal urged leaders to build a strong grassroots organisation that genuinely represents the people of Goa.

Addressing the leadership gathered Arvind Kejriwal said, Our strength has always been our connection with people. Strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and become the voice of Goa. Listen to people’s problems, help them raise issues, and ensure those issues are taken to their logical conclusion. Helping people and getting their work done is the real purpose of politics.

AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik addressing the leaders said “Goa is facing an unprecedented assault on its land, khazans, rivers and lakes. Our responsibility is to stand with the people and raise these issues fearlessly. We should further strengthen our organisation and ensure we help people protect their land and fight for their rights.”

Goa In-Charge Atishi said : “AAP’s politics is rooted in service, honesty and accountability. We have discussed how local leaders must engage more deeply with communities, understand their concerns and work consistently to resolve them. This people-centric approach will help AAP grow stronger across Goa.”

AAP reiterated that the party will continue focusing on grassroots organisation-building, people’s issues and environmental protection, with the clear aim of becoming the strongest and most credible voice of Goa.
