Goa Khabar : Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) observed Constitution Day on 26th November 2025, reinforcing its commitment to the values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity upheld by the Constitution of India.
As part of the observance at Madgaon, Santosh Kumar Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, KRCL, along with Joseph George, Executive Director (SP&BD) / Madgaon and Asha Shetty, Regional Railway Manager / Karwar, led the collective reading of the Preamble of the Constitution of India, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from Executives and Staff, reflecting respect and pride in the nation’s constitutional values. Continuing the Constitution Day observance across Konkan Railway, Rajesh M. Bhadang, Director (Finance) and Sunil Gupta, Director (Operations & Commercial) led the collective reading of the Preamble at CO/Belapur. A similar mass reading was also organised at stations and offices across Ratnagiri and Karwar region, with wholehearted participation from employees across all departments.
The spirit of the occasion resonated across the Konkan Railway network, with enthusiastic participation from stations, regional offices and field units. The observance reaffirmed KRCL’s commitment to constitutional values, civic responsibility and transparent public service.
