Konkan Railway staff promptly detect unclaimed bags onboard Train No. 16336 Nagercoil–Gandhidham Express
Goa Khabar : Konkan Railway’s onboard staff once again demonstrated alertness and commitment to passenger safety during an incident reported on 19 November 2025 at around 13:27 hrs on Train No. 16336 Nagercoil–Gandhidham Express.
While carrying out routine ticket checking in coach S1 (Berth 49), TTE’s Shri Nagaraj Gouda/ Madgaon and Mohan D/ Madgaon identified four white bags lying unclaimed, suspected to contain liquor bottles. Their prompt observation ensured the matter was immediately addressed.
On interacting with passengers, it was learnt that an unknown individual had reportedly loaded the bags at Madgaon station and did not return to claim them.
Acting swiftly, Konkan Railway coordinated with the security team, and RPF personnel were arranged at Ratnagiri station to take necessary action.
