AAP Goa President Adv. Amit Palekar said “AAP has been a formidable opposition to the BJP government — whether it is exposing corruption, fighting for healthcare, or raising issues of youth and women. Now, we carry this work among the people and ask for their vote.”
Valmiki Naik, Working President & National Spokesperson said “Our first list of ZP candidates reflects exactly what makes AAP different — every name on this list is a grassroots worker who has earned people’s trust through real service. While other parties distribute tickets based on favouritism and deals, AAP selects those who have worked on the ground and connected with the common Goan. That is why our model appeals to ordinary families — because AAP’s politics is sincere, honest, and centred around people.”
Gerson Gomes, Working President said “The candidates announced today will take the proven work of AAP MLAs Capt. Venzy Viegas and Engr. Cruz Silva directly before the people. From free clinics, roads, electricity, and community building our MLAs have delivered tangible results, and now our ZP candidates will carry this work forward in every village. This first list shows the strength and seriousness with which AAP is contesting the ZP elections. We step before the public with our work — not empty promises — and we confidently seek their vote.”
AAP Goa reaffirmed its commitment to bringing clean, accountable, and people-first governance to the panchayat level, stating that the upcoming ZP elections will be fought on the issues of healthcare, youth empowerment, corruption-free governance, and local development.
