Goa Khabar : Ex-Colva Sarpanch Anthony Leo Fernandes (Mam) officially joined the Aam Aadmi Party today. AAP MLA Capt. Venzy Viegas welcomed him into the party by placing the AAP scarf around his neck.

Speaking about his induction, MLA Capt. Venzy Viegas praised Anthony Leo Fernandes for him committed public service and social contribution. He highlighted that she has also served three consecutive terms as Executive Committee Member of Goa Football Association, and his entry into AAP will significantly strengthen the party’s organizational network in the Colva Zilla Panchayat block.
After joining AAP, Anthony Leo Fernandes shared “In 2008, when I became Sarpanch for the first time, I was new to politics. Capt. Venzy Viegas supported and guided me through every Panchayat matter and helped me gain confidence. I am thankful to him. With the support of the locals present here today, we will take AAP’s work forward with full strength.”
With more grassroots leaders and residents joining hands, AAP is set to fight the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections with renewed energy and determination.
