AAP condoles the demise of veteran journalist Suresh Walve

Goa Khabar : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of veteran journalist Shri Suresh Walve, recalling his immense contribution to Goan journalism and media.

In a condolence message, AAP noted that as the former editor of the Marathi daily Navprabha, Walve earned widespread respect for his insightful writings, progressive outlook, and balanced editorials that shed light on issues of public importance in Goa.

“His journalism was both fearless and thoughtful. Through his wit and clarity, Shri Walve articulated the concerns and aspirations of Goans. He was a guiding light for many in the field,” the statement read.

The party further acknowledged Shri Walve’s role as a mentor to budding journalists, encouraging new voices in the media industry. Navprabha’s popular Sunday supplement, under his guidance, became a platform for some of Goa’s finest writers and was eagerly awaited by readers every week.

The Aam Aadmi Party extended heartfelt condolences to Shri Walve’s family and colleagues, praying that his soul attains sadgati.
