Goa Khabar : BJP speaks about Sanatan Dharma, but fails to practise it. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi don’t respect it and had not get tonsured when his mother Heeraba Modi had died. Cutting a Birthday cake of BJP’s State President Damu Naik in temple is also an insult of Sanatan Dharma, Congress Media Chairperson Amarnath Panjikar said.
“This act, where Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant and other leaders of BJP were present inside a temple is an outright insult to Sanatan Dharma. Temples are sacred spaces of prayer and devotion, not venues for birthdays or political gimmicks. This itself clears that BJP uses religious places for its political gains. Shame on such low level politics,” Amarnath Panjikar said.
He said that BJP, which falsely projects itself as the guardian of Hindutva, has once again exposed its hypocrisy.
“By turning a holy place into a stage for cheap celebration, BJP has desecrated the very sanctity of Hindu Dharma and deeply hurt the faith of crores of devotees. This is not devotion — this is adharm. It is an unholy act that cannot and will not be forgiven,” he said.
“We demand an unconditional public apology from the BJP and its State President. The people of Goa and Hindus across India will not tolerate such repeated assaults on their Dharma,” Panjikar said.
