Goa Khabar : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders on Sunday took their people-connect initiative ‘Goencho Gazali’ to Sankhali constituency, where locals voiced their frustration over years of neglect and expressed hope for real change.
The programme was led by AAP Vice Presidents Sunil Singnapurkar, Chetan Kamat and Youth Wing leader Salman Khan, along with a group of AAP volunteers. The leaders visited the Sankhali market, interacted with small vendors, hotel owners and daily wage workers, and listened to the problems faced by common people.
From poor roads and inflation to lack of employment opportunities, citizens openly said that they are tired of hollow promises and want a government that delivers real development.
Sunil Singnapurkar said, “People are ready for a new politics of honesty and accountability. Goa cannot afford more of BJP’s corruption and neglect.” The strong response in Sankhali makes it clear, people want change, and they see AAP as the credible alternative.
Chetan Kamat said, “Unemployment is the biggest issue today. Youngsters are migrating, degree holders stand in line for peon jobs, while the government gives away opportunities to outsiders instead of creating employment opportunities for Goans. This betrayal is why people are demanding change”.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan said, “Goa is witnessing poor governance under CM Pramod Sawant. Law and order is deteriorating, roads are collapsing. Shockingly, the CM himself holds both the Home and PWD portfolios, yet the situation is only worsening. Goa urgently needs real change and Goans are demanding it now”.
