Constitute House Committee in Goa University issue : Yuri Alemao
Goa Khabar : Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao on Tuesday demanded to constitute House Committee in Goa Universities Paper leak matter.
He said that the findings of the Enquiry Committee, in Goa University paper leak matter, headed by Justice R.M.S. Khandeparker are not ordinary observations. They are a mirror held up to the university’s functioning.
“Government should urgently appoint an independent regulatory audit team and also Constitute House Committee,” Alemao said.
“What we are witnessing today is not just a technical lapse at Goa University, it is an academic and moral crisis,” he said.
“I urge the Education Department to draft and publish a 10-year academic vision document for Goa University in consultation with faculty, students, alumni, and employers, taking into account national and global benchmarks,” Alemao said.
