Goa Khabar : In a strongly worded statement, the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has demanded the immediate dismissal of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane following his controversial conduct at Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim. The minister is accused of publicly intimidating and humiliating on-duty medical professionals, including Dr. Rudresh, prompting widespread outrage.

According to RGP, such behavior from a senior minister is not only unacceptable but a blatant misuse of power. The party condemned the incident, calling it a serious blow to the morale of Goa’s hardworking healthcare workers. Dr. Rudresh and his team have reportedly demanded a public apology from Minister Rane at the same spot where the incident occurred.

“This is not just an outburst — it’s abuse of power,” RGP said in their official press release. “If the minister had any sense of responsibility, he would have stepped down immediately. If the Chief Minister still has a spine, he must act without delay.”

The RGP questioned whether the BJP-led government was prepared to tolerate such behavior, warning that allowing one minister’s ego to override professional dignity would set a dangerous precedent.

“The people of Goa are watching,” the statement read, “and they will not forget. Goa should not suffer because of one arrogant minister.”

The Revolutionary Goans Party reaffirmed its full support to the state’s medical professionals and emphasized that respect and protection for frontline workers is non-negotiable.
