Murder Case Solved cracked by Agacaim Police team

Goa Khabar:In a swift breakthrough, Agacaim Police have cracked a murder case within 72 hours of the incident. On 13th April 2025 at 13:17 hrs, police received information about a dead body found near kiosk numbers 55/56, located outside GMC, Bambolim.
Upon reaching the spot, the team discovered the body hidden under clothing and a suitcase. A severe head injury was visible on the victim’s skull. A sealed bottle of whiskey and various household articles were recovered from the scene.
The deceased was later identified as Santosh, son of Vishnu Kambli (39), a resident of Santa Cruz, Tiswadi, Goa. An FIR was registered under No. 19/2025 at Agacaim Police Station under Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Working in close coordination with other police station teams, the Agacaim police traced and nabbed the accused near Vasco Railway Station. The accused has been identified as Hritik Solanki S/o Ravindra Solanki
Age 24yrs, R/o Chandrapur, Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Initial investigation has revealed a financial dispute as the motive behind the murder.
The case was cracked under the leadership of PI Anant Gaonkar, supervised by SDPO Panjim Sudesh Naik, ASP (UT) Arun Balgotra and SP North Goa Shri Akshat Kaushal. The investigation team included PC Raju Attar, PC Raghova, PC Sanjay Vaarak, and other staff from Agacaim PS, as well as HC Raj and PC Vidhya from Calangute PS.
Further investigation is underway.
