Goa Khabar: The Forca Goa Foundation is inviting schools, academies, clubs and communities to participate in its flagship football league for children, the Little Gaurs League 19-20. Last year it was Goa’s biggest Baby League and it promises to be even bigger this season!

The Little Gaurs League 19-20 will be held in three zones; North Goa, Central Goa (Vasco) and South Goa. Registrations are open for boys and girls in Under 6, Under 8 and Under 10 age categories. The Foundation will simultaneously also conduct an exclusive Under 12 years old League for girls.

The unique feature of the league is that it’s open for anyone to participate be it schools, academies, clubs or communities. The idea is to allow everyone to get involved, form teams and participate.

The League will be following the format prescribed by the All India Football Federation in their Golden Baby Leagues Handbook. Young footballers will get a tremendous opportunity to play regular football as well as display their talent, zeal and enthusiasm for the beautiful game.

The League will run from November to March with match days every week, and the registration fee is Rs. 400 per child (inclusive of jersey and shorts).

Winners of each zone will then be participating in a final round to decide and celebrate state champions of Goa for each age category.

For more information on the number of players per team, how to register, participate or any other queries – you can send a WhatsApp message to Forca Goa Foundation on +91 8080457728.
